Our commitment

Accessibility

The accessibility approach and current review status of the HerNext public launch page.

Last reviewed 19 August 2026

Our target

HerNext is working toward conformance with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines 2.2 at level AA for this public website. Accessibility is part of release review, not a one-time claim.

How the site is designed

  • Semantic headings, landmarks and link text support assistive technology.
  • The core experience works without client-side JavaScript.
  • Keyboard focus remains visible and a skip link bypasses repeated navigation.
  • Layouts are designed to reflow without horizontal scrolling at 200% zoom.
  • Animation is limited and respects reduced-motion preferences.
  • Meaning is not communicated by colour alone.

Current status

Automated checks cover common accessibility barriers on mobile and desktop. Human keyboard, zoom, screen-reader and content review are also required before public release. Some people will encounter needs that automated tools cannot detect.

Tell us what is not working

An accessibility feedback address will be published before the site goes live.
